Jennifer Warrick McCarthy
Jennifer Warrick McCarthy came by her love of design in the trenches while building her own house. When it was completed and all the decisions had been made, she realized she would miss the stacks of tile and countertops, the lighting catalogs and the plans laid out on the dining room table. After enrolling in the design program at Queens University and sharpening her skills, she opened The Warrick Company. It was a natural second career for her as she looked to use the business acumen acquired at IBM as well as the discerning eye she developed growing up with a Swedish mother and living primarily overseas in Africa and Turkey. Her design philosophy marries the beautiful with function such that a house is truly an extension of the owners. A home should evoke a sense of peace and pride, filled with meaningful things, all the while making life more livable. Whether it is a single room or an entire house, she loves the process unraveling a client's desires, understanding the possibilities within a space and sourcing the perfect solution.
